A little about us...

Like any good revolution, Calgary’s street food revolution of 2011 came out of the injustice that existed between the haves and the have-nots. The haves being those in cities with vibrant food truck cultures like Los Angeles, Portland and Vancouver. The have-nots: YOU.

To this we said, “Let’s rally the troops” and bring Calgarians a food d’état. And while lining up at the Perogy Boyz may not find you political awareness, it will fill your belly with traditional Eastern European street food like perogies, sausages, cabbage rolls and borscht, along with a few not-so-traditional twists.

Shelley Pym

As the third owner of Perogy Boyz and Ukrainian by blood, Shelley knows just how to add the right touches to complete mouthwatering dishes. Shelley is a serial entrepreneur and mother of two which has given her the experience necessary to be a nurturing and loving boss not only to her employees, but to the hungry people of Calgary.

Jim & Deb

Jim & Deb bought the truck in 2012 with hopes to grow the business further and add their own personal touches on menu items. To say they did just that is an understatement. By 2013, Perogy Boyz was voted 'Best Food Truck' and has taken the title every year since.

Brenden & sean

Perogy Boyz was founded in 2011 and was the brainchild of Brenden Bankowski and Sean Greenwood. As owner and executive chef of 'Taste' restaurant, they had a love for food along with the expertise to begin a revolution in Calgary street food. Although the menu was very different back then, they grew a following and pumped out some delicious options which were at times successful sellouts!
